Our Break Format

160-slot character breaks plus end-of-stream buyer's giveaways

160-Slot Character Breaks

Standard format: 160 slots, 30 booster packs, 2 slabs.

Comprehensive Character Slots

Each slot is tied to a specific Pokemon character, but NOT a specific card. The Charizard slot wins ALL Charizards pulled during the break regardless of variant, set, or rarity, as long as it's Reverse Holo or above. This gives you much wider coverage than specific-card slots.

Reverse Holo and Above

We ship Reverse Holo rarity and above. Most breakers only ship EX and up, leaving tons of value on the table. Reverse holos, holo rares, and double rares all ship to winning slot owners.

Special Catch-All Slots

Two special slots ensure nothing gets left behind:

  • All Other Pokemon: Catches any Pokemon not assigned to a specific character slot
  • All Other Trainers: Catches all Trainer cards pulled during the break (note: Pokemon cards with trainer names like "Lillie's Clefairy EX" are still Pokemon cards and go to Pokemon slots)

These slots are often overlooked but can bring HUGE value, especially when Slabs or Mystery cards are in the mix!

End-of-Stream Buyer's Giveaways

6 buyer's giveaways using WhatNot's built-in feature at the end of every stream. Each winner receives a full booster pack ripped live with all cards shipped. This is separate from the break itself.

Keep an eye out for buyer's giveaways featuring FULL booster packs ripped live on stream!

Why This Format

We landed on 160 slots, 30 booster packs, and 2 slabs for our standard format because it balances three things:

  1. Bidder accessibility. 160 slots means most regular viewers can grab a slot at a reasonable bid.
  2. Hit density. 32 hit pools across 160 slots gives roughly a 20% chance any given slot hits something. Real odds, not lottery-ticket odds.
  3. Operational manageability. We can sort and ship reliably within a few days post-break.
